Today I started the day off with an inspection in VERY chilly Irvington, NY (actually White Plains, NY renamed for rich people). After the inspection it was time to cross the Tapen zee Bridge (they renamed this? When did it get named after Cuomo?) and stopping at Dunkin Donuts for coffee, I started my drive West.
My travels took me out along NY-17 (I-86 wanna be) towards Corning. First stop was at a little exit in the town of Wortsburo, a bump in the road with some nice scenery.
Then moving on west the next stop was at Hancock.
Finally I made the rest of the six hour drive to my hotel in Orlean, NY. I think I crossed over into PA for about one mile someplace along the way and then right back into New York.
After checking in I was able to get some night pictures, I am out in the middle of no place so there isn’t much going on here.
We are under a Winter Storm Watch headed towards a Winter Storm Warning so I am not sure what the morning will bring. I will have to make decisions on tomorrow’s inspection and travels at that time.
