Brrrrr…… it was a cold day today. Started off about 34 degrees and raining when I left the hotel this morning on my way to my first appointment. Had to add air to the tires as the pressure sensors were telling me that they were low on pressure. No surprise because of the cold temperatures.
Today’s route took me South of the river and then crossed over back North into New Orleans, and then onto I-10 headed East. I ended up having a full day of inspections which translated into “not going to get home until Saturday.” I sort of expected that would happen so we had planned on it.
I got far enough along that I am out of the zone expecting freezing rain and ice overnight, which was the goal. Finally got warmed back up when I stopped for the night after crossing over into Florida and getting through Pensacola.
Today’s inspections included a generator, TV, garage door openers, and of course the regular residential air conditioners, and of special importance today was the gas furnaces. I am so glad that I have over the years learned what i have learned about appliances and equipment other than only HVAC/R equipment.
