Day 10 – Dulac, Mentegut, Lacrose, Lockport, Raceland, and Kenner

Started off the day WAY South of the hotel, any further South and I would be getting wet. Once again saw massive destruction from Hurricane Ida. It just amazes me that on one street some houses have been torn apart and some houses are relatively OK, even if they look like the same construction and are right next to each other.

The rest of the day went sort of expected. No major surprises. I am just about at the done point. I did have to tell one insured today that I am not really worried about what her contractor told her, I am worried about what I can personally verify. She was getting a little pushy for me just to accept what her contractor said the problems are. Not!

Well, not many….. I know why the system isn’t cooling properly. Does anyone else know?

Airflow anyone?

Folks, those of you doing service, it also matters how you wire capacitors. Seriously, if you can’t remember, take a picture before you will all the wires off the old one.

And on that note, I am done for the day. Time for dinner and then sleep. Tomorrow is last day of claims for this trip. Tomorrow’s post will show my empty dispatch board.

Talk to you all tomorrow.
